Agent Tools

The interactive cards the agent uses — choosing panels, answering follow-ups, and approving costs.

The agent carries out real steps through cards that appear directly in the conversation. You read them, make a choice, and the agent continues. Here are the ones you'll meet, roughly in the order they show up.

Answering follow-up questions

When the agent needs more detail, it shows an Answer follow-up questions card, one question at a time. For each you can:

  • Write your own answer, or
  • Let the agent decide if you don't have a preference.

When you're done, click Submit answers. This is how the agent narrows a vague request into a concrete audience and study.

Choosing a panel

The Choose a Panel card lists suitable existing panels with their key facts (type, scope, size, version). Click Choose to use one. If nothing fits, the agent can generate a new one — see Choosing & Generating Panels.

Reviewing and approving

Before anything that costs credits or has real consequences, the agent shows a Review tool request card. It summarizes what will happen, and you approve with Allow or stop with Cancel. If you don't have enough credits, the card says so instead of charging you.

Cards you'll see later

  • Target Definition — define a new panel's audience.
  • Study start — the pre-flight summary before a survey (panel, participants, questions, estimated duration, price in credits).
  • Study progress — live status while a survey and its analysis run.
  • Stimulus management — organize the images used in a study.

You don't need to memorize these — each card explains itself when it appears.

Good to know

  • Cards are interactive history: scroll up and you can still see what you chose and approved earlier in the thread.
  • If a step needs your input and you navigate away, the thread keeps it pending until you come back.
