The key terms used across theconsumer.ai, in one place.
The terms you'll meet most, in plain language. Product names (Panel, Digital Twin, Research Agent, and so on) stay in English throughout the app.

| Research Agent | The AI assistant you talk to; it finds panels, designs studies, and runs surveys. |
| Thread | One saved conversation with the agent. |
| Turn | A single question-and-answer round within a thread. |
| Panel | Your audience — a defined, versioned group of AI consumers. |
| Synthetic Consumer | An artificial consumer generated from population data. |
| Digital Twin | A representation of a real person interviewed beforehand. |
| Synthetic Panel | A panel made of Synthetic Consumers. |
| Twin Panel | A panel made of Digital Twins. |
| Panel scope | Whether a panel is Standard (shared) or Team (yours). |
| Panel version / vintage | A frozen member list, and the date it was generated. |
| Panel Slot | A capacity unit for how many Team panels you can hold at once. |
| Study | A survey design: research question, questions, and stimuli, for one panel. |
| Survey | A study while it's running against the panel. |
| Stimulus | An image shown to the panel during a study. |
| Research question | The central thing a study sets out to learn. |
| Study status | Where a study is: draft, running, analyzing, report draft, published (or failed/abandoned). |
| Report | The result of a study: report head, charts, statements, and quotes. |
| Report head | The basis of a report: panel name, type, version, vintage. |
| Finding / Statement | An interpretation drawn from the results. |
| Recommendation | A suggested action derived from the findings. |
| Trust marker | A label showing how solid a statement is (Derivation, Thesis, Exploratory, Machine translated). |
| Evidence / Quote | A real panel voice supporting a statement. |
| Report Dock | The report view beside the chat in a thread. |
| Credits | The unit consumed by running surveys and generating panels. |
| Team / Workspace | The shared space where your panels, studies, and reports live. |
